- "Put your hands up in the air!
Like an ogre, who just don't care" - — Myron Wagtail mentioning ogres in his song[src]
Ogres were magical creatures. Little was known about them apart from their appearance, which was similar to that of a ghoul.[2]
History[]
Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger possibly saw an ogre in the Three Broomsticks during their first trip to Hogsmeade on 31 October 1993, although it is uncertain if this was an ogre or simply an ogre-like individual.[3]
The Weird Sisters referenced ogres in the song Do the Hippogriff.[4]
Description[]
Not much was known about ogres. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them suggested that ogres bore a passing resemblance to ghouls, but without the slimy skin or buck teeth.[2]
